Electrifying Rail-Grinding Teen Rebellion High-Speed Tony Hawk on Rails Tokyo Drift Meets Jet Set Radio Denshattack: The Ultimate Rail Grind

Denshattack is what happens when you take the high speed trick based action of Tony Hawk Pro Skater and replace the skateboard with a Japanese commuter train. This is the latest creation from Barcelona based indie studio Undercoders, and it promises a delirious high velocity experience.

The game is a blend of flow state action, an original soundtrack, and a coming of age drama. The core gameplay loop involves keeping your train moving by performing jumps, wall rides, spins, and landing tricks to build up massive combos. This rail hopping chaos is set within a fully voice acted story, available in both English and Japanese, that focuses on themes of overcoming oppression and finding your true friends. The entire package is wrapped in a Jet Set Radio inspired aesthetic that looks both chaotic and thrilling.

The developers at Undercoders are based in Spain but have a deep affection for Japan, specifically its train system. The studio founders are self described train enthusiasts who have spent significant time backpacking through Japan to experience the trains firsthand. This passion is the direct inspiration for the game.

Denshattack is scheduled for an early 2026 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X S. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. A significant part of the games identity is its music, which is being handled by lead composer Tee Lopes, known for his work on Sonic Mania and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge. Additional artists from the video game music label Kid Katana will also contribute to the soundtrack.
