Belkin has introduced a range of new products at IFA 2025, including a wall charger, a car charger, and four additions to its SoundForm audio lineup. However, the most significant announcement from the consumer electronics brand is its new Qi2 25W wireless charging puck.
The UltraCharge Magnetic Charger 25W is designed to charge an iPhone from zero to fifty percent battery in just thirty minutes. It features a clever integrated kickstand, allowing users to charge their phone on a table while keeping the screen visible for viewing content. This collapsible kickstand can also double as a PopSocket-style grip for holding the phone. The charging puck comes with a 6.6-foot cable, offering a decent range of movement while tethered. To address heat management, a common concern with wireless charging, Belkin has incorporated its ChillBoost passive cooling technology to minimize heat buildup and help protect the device’s battery health over time. The charger is scheduled to become available in October 2025. While its US pricing has not yet been finalized, it will retail for thirty pounds in the UK.
The Qi2 wireless charging standard has been gaining substantial momentum throughout the year, bringing faster 25W speeds and improved magnetic alignment to a wider array of devices. This rollout marks a significant shift, as several major Android phone manufacturers, who had previously been slow to adopt the standard, are now integrating Qi2 support into their new handsets, joining the ecosystem that was initially popularized by Apple’s MagSafe. This broader industry adoption is a positive development for consumers, promoting greater interoperability and faster wireless charging across different device brands.
This move by Belkin to release a high-power Qi2 charger with practical design features underscores the growing importance and maturation of the Qi2 standard in the market, offering users a powerful and convenient charging solution.
