Lenovo Unleashes Next-Gen Gaming Hardware at IFA with Legion Pro 7 Laptop and More
Lenovo has taken the wraps off a powerful new lineup of gaming gear at the IFA tech show, headlined by the formidable Legion Pro 7 laptop. This new machine is built for peak performance, featuring AMD’s latest Ryzen 9000 HX series processors. For the ultimate in gaming CPU power, users can configure it with the top-tier Ryzen 9 9955HX3D chip.
Graphics are handled by NVIDIA’s next-generation GeForce RTX GPUs, with an option to equip the laptop with the powerful RTX 5080. This processing might is paired with a stunning 16-inch OLED display that boasts a 240Hz refresh rate and an incredibly fast 0.08ms response time, promising buttery-smooth and visually immersive gameplay.
To support these high-end components, the Legion Pro 7 can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM and a spacious 2TB of storage. Keeping everything running cool under pressure is Lenovo’s proprietary Coldfront thermal technology. This advanced cooling solution is designed to manage heat effectively, allowing gamers to push the highest graphical settings in the most demanding titles without thermal throttling. The Legion Pro 7 is scheduled to launch in November, with a starting price of $2,400.
Beyond the laptop, Lenovo also introduced a new desktop aimed at gamers, the LOQ Tower 26ADR10. This system is no slouch either, running on AMD Ryzen 8000 series processors and NVIDIA 50-Series graphics cards. It offers even greater expansion potential than the laptop, supporting up to 64GB of RAM and a massive 4TB of SSD storage. The LOQ Tower will be available sooner, launching later this month with a starting price point of $1,000.
Rounding out the gaming announcements, Lenovo revealed a series of new gaming monitors. These displays focus on high refresh rates and versatile connectivity options to cater to a variety of gaming setups. Availability for the monitors is set for October or November, with prices ranging from $700 to $1,100 depending on the model. This comprehensive refresh of Lenovo’s gaming portfolio signals a significant push to capture the high-performance market with cutting-edge components.
