Anker’s All-In-One Outdoor Cinema

Anker Launches Nebula X1 Pro Home Theater System on Kickstarter Anker has officially opened pre-orders for its ambitious Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro home theater system through a Kickstarter campaign. Following an initial preview at the IFA tech show, the product is now available for backing with early bird pricing set at 3,000 dollars, a significant discount from its planned future retail price of 5,000 dollars. The Nebula X1 Pro is designed as a comprehensive, all-in-one home entertainment solution. The system integrates a 4K projector with a complete audio setup that includes a soundbar, a subwoofer, and two wireless satellite speakers. The design is notably unique. The subwoofer is suspended within a spring-type assembly, a feature intended to prevent the transfer of vibrations and enhance sound clarity. For a more immersive experience, the soundbar speakers physically fold out to the sides of the projector unit, while the satellite speakers enable true wireless surround sound. This system is built with portability and outdoor use in mind. It boasts an IP43 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and light rain, making it suitable for backyard movie nights. Furthering its portable credentials, the Nebula X1 Pro includes practical features like a retractable power cable, a built-in telescopic handle, and rolling wheels for easy transport. On the technical side, the projector features a motorized lens for simplified setup and calibration. The system supports the Dolby Atmos audio format for a cinematic sound experience. Interestingly, the speakers can also function independently for audio streaming without needing to project any video. Adding to its party potential, the package comes with a pair of wireless microphones, positioning the device as an all-around entertainment machine for movies, music, and karaoke. The Nebula X1 Pro appears to be a major upgrade from its predecessor, the standard Nebula X1 projector, which was previously praised for offering the clearest and most vivid image quality seen in a projector. While the original model also costs 3,000 dollars, its audio capabilities were more limited. The new Pro version’s expansive Dolby Atmos system with satellite speakers and the specialized subwoofer is expected to deliver a far superior audio performance. The Kickstarter campaign has already surpassed its funding goal, confirming the product will move into production. The company expects to begin shipping the Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro to backers this December.
