Anker, once known primarily for batteries and chargers, has dramatically expanded its smart home ambitions under its Eufy brand. At CES, the company unveiled a new lineup of connected home products, including a high-end robot vacuum, a video doorbell, an outdoor security light, and a facial recognition smart lock. Leading the announcements is the Eufy Clean Robot Vacuum Omni S2. Priced at 1,600 dollars, this robot vacuum and mop combo features 100 AW of suction power and is designed to handle shag carpets with a pile height up to 2 inches. Its 11.4-inch rolling mop applies downward pressure for scrubbing. The device uses AI to identify floor types and automatically adjust settings like suction and cleaning mode. A notable feature is its ability to generate a light disinfecting solution inside its tank. Presales begin January 6, with shipping starting January 20. For home entryways, Anker introduced the Eufy Video Doorbell S4. This doorbell offers AI-powered people detection with auto-framing and records in 3K resolution. It provides a 180-degree panoramic view. The device can be installed in wired or wireless configurations and supports solar charging for power. It is expected to launch later in the first quarter for 280 dollars. Enhancing outdoor security is the Eufy Solar Wall Light Cam S4. This dual-purpose device combines a bright LED light, adjustable from warm to cool white, with a built-in 4K camera. It includes a detachable solar panel for charging and houses a 10,000mAh battery that Anker says can last up to two months. The Solar Wall Light Cam S4 is also slated for a first-quarter release at a price of 200 dollars. Rounding out the smart home ecosystem is the Eufy Smart Lock E40. This lock integrates a camera and uses 3D facial recognition to identify authorized users from up to 10 feet away, triggering an automatic unlock. The camera records in 2K with a 135-degree field of view. Power comes from a removable 15,000mAh battery rated for six months, plus a smaller backup battery. The lock supports Matter, Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings. It is scheduled to launch in the first quarter at Home Depot for 300 dollars. This expanded portfolio signals Anker’s continued push to become a comprehensive provider in the competitive smart home market, moving far beyond its power accessory roots.
