Lego and Nintendo have revealed the second official Legend of Zelda construction set, focusing on the climactic showdown from Ocarina of Time. Titled Lego The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle, the set recreates the ruined castle scene where Link and Princess Zelda confront Ganondorf. The set contains 1,003 pieces, a notably smaller part count compared to the first Zelda offering, the 2,500-piece Great Deku Tree set from 2024. While the Deku Tree allowed builders to choose themes from either Breath of the Wild or Ocarina of Time, this new release is dedicated entirely to the classic Nintendo 64 title. The centerpiece is a brick-built diorama of the castle courtyard in ruins. The set includes minifigures of Link, equipped with his Master Sword and Hylian Shield, and Princess Zelda. A transparent brick-built Navi, Link’s fairy companion, is also included. The main antagonist is represented in two forms: a minifigure of Ganondorf and a large, posable brick model of his demon beast form, Ganon. This Ganon figure is likely the standout element of the set. An interactive feature allows fans to recreate a key moment from the game. By pressing a button, builders can make Ganondorf rise from the rubble of the castle. Three recovery heart pieces are hidden within the debris. This set marks the first major Lego announcement following the company’s reveal of its new Smart Brick technology at CES. However, this Zelda set does not incorporate that electronic component, relying on traditional Lego building. Lego The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle is available for pre-order now and is scheduled for release on March 1. The set will carry a retail price of 130 dollars.
