Samsung is significantly expanding its Galaxy AI ecosystem with a new multi-agent approach, giving users more choice and flexibility in how they interact with artificial intelligence across their devices. The announcement represents Samsung most comprehensive AI strategy to date. The updated ecosystem will allow users to choose from multiple AI agents for different tasks, rather than relying on a single assistant. Users can select specialized agents for specific functions-productivity, creativity, health tracking, or smart home management-with each optimized for its particular use case. We are moving beyond the one-size-fits-all approach to AI assistants, explained Samsung product lead. Different tasks require different expertise, and our multi-agent approach gives users the right tool for each job. The new system allows for seamless collaboration between agents. A user planning a trip might consult the travel agent for recommendations, the calendar agent for availability, and the finance agent for budgeting-all through a unified interface that coordinates information across agents. Privacy remains a key focus, with Samsung emphasizing that users maintain control over which data each agent can access. On-device processing ensures sensitive information stays local, while cloud-based options are available for tasks requiring more powerful computing resources. The expansion includes partnerships with third-party AI providers, allowing users to integrate specialized agents from other companies into their Samsung ecosystem. This open approach contrasts with competitors who keep users locked into their own AI systems. Galaxy AI features will roll out across Samsung device lineup, including smartphones, tablets, wearables, and smart home products. The company expects the full multi-agent experience to be available by mid-2026.
