Battlefield 6 Leak Sparks Comeback Hype

EA’s Next Battlefield Game Leaked Ahead of Official Reveal

The next installment in the Battlefield franchise might have just been spoiled ahead of its official announcement. Leaks suggest Electronic Arts is gearing up to reveal Battlefield 6, sending promotional materials to content creators. This comes after the mixed reception of Battlefield 2042, which still holds a Mixed rating on Steam since its 2021 launch.

A gaming YouTuber, DooM49, shared images of a promotional crate labeled Battlefield 6 before deleting the post. The crate featured straps with words like conquest, breakthrough, and rush—possibly hinting at returning game modes. Another Battlefield creator, rivaLxfactor, backed up the leak, sharing details about an alleged three-day EA event starting July 29. The event is expected to include developer interviews, gameplay reveals, and an open beta announcement shortly after.

EA has yet to confirm the leaks or announce an official event, but the company previously stated in its financial reports that the next Battlefield game would be revealed this summer. According to EA’s roadmap, the game is set to launch before April 2026.

Fans are hoping Battlefield 6 will mark a comeback for the series after the rocky launch of Battlefield 2042. With leaks already circulating, an official announcement may be just around the corner.
