CES 2026 has delivered a wave of new gaming monitors, with major brands showcasing advancements in OLED technology, blistering refresh rates, and even glasses-free 3D. Here are the standout displays announced at the show. LG UltraGear GX7 LG claims its new UltraGear GX7 is its fastest and brightest OLED gaming monitor yet. The 27-inch display uses LG Display’s latest 4th-gen RGB Tandem 2.0 OLED technology for improved brightness and efficiency. It features a Dual Mode that lets users prioritize either image quality with a 540Hz refresh rate at QHD resolution, or speed with a 720Hz mode at HD resolution. With a 0.02ms response time and support for both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, it aims for smooth, stutter-free gameplay. It carries a price tag of 1,000 dollars. Samsung Odyssey 3D and Odyssey OLED G8 Samsung unveiled the Odyssey 3D, touted as the world’s first 6K display with glasses-free 3D. The 32-inch LCD monitor uses eye-tracking to add a sense of depth to games. It offers a native 165Hz refresh rate, boostable to 330Hz in a special mode. Alongside it, Samsung introduced an updated 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8. This 4K QD-OLED monitor features a 240Hz refresh rate, a glare-free coating, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM and ROG Strix Pulsar XG27AQNGV ASUS highlighted its new RGB Stripe OLED layout technology, developed with LG, which promises sharper text and better color than previous QD-OLED panels. The 27-inch ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM uses a Tandem OLED panel and can run at 4K 240Hz or FHD 480Hz. It includes a proximity sensor to help prevent screen burn-in. For competitive gamers, ASUS also unveiled the ROG Strix Pulsar XG27AQNGV, one of the first monitors to feature NVIDIA’s new G-Sync Pulsar technology designed to minimize motion blur. It has a 27-inch 1440p panel with a 360Hz refresh rate. MSI MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 MSI’s flagship is the curved, 34-inch ultrawide MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36. It uses a 5th-generation Tandem QD-OLED panel with an RGB Stripe layout. MSI applies a DarkArmor Film to improve black levels and reduce reddish tints under ambient light. The monitor boasts a 3440×1440 resolution, a 360Hz refresh rate, and a claimed peak brightness of 1,300 nits. An AI Care Sensor detects user presence to manage power states. ViewSonic VX2738 2K OLED Gaming Monitor ViewSonic’s offering is a more accessible 27-inch QD-OLED monitor. The VX2738 features a 2K QHD resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and support for both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync. A unique feature is an esports mode that scales the image to a 24.5-inch viewing area for a more focused competitive experience. ViewSonic says it will be priced at 500 dollars. HP HyperX Omen OLED 34 HP’s new HyperX Omen OLED 34 is a curved 34-inch ultrawide with a QD-OLED panel using V-stripe technology. It offers a 21:9 aspect ratio, a 360Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time. The monitor includes 100W USB-C power delivery and a built-in KVM switch. HP is also providing a design for a customizable, 3D-printable headphone hook. Acer Predator XB273U F6 Gaming Monitor Acer is pushing refresh rates to extremes with the Predator XB273U F6. This 27-inch IPS monitor has a native refresh rate of 500Hz. Using a Dynamic Frequency and Resolution mode, it can reach an astonishing 1000Hz at a 1280×720 resolution. It features a 1440p panel, covers 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and includes built-in speakers. Acer plans to launch it in North America in the second quarter of 2026 for 800 dollars.
