Dark Six Awaits in VR Enter Six’s Twisted Reality Unveiling Altered Echoes in VR Step Into Six’s Shadows Altered Echoes: A New Nightmare

Bandai Namco has announced a new virtual reality entry in the Little Nightmares series. The game is titled Little Nightmares VR Altered Echoes and is scheduled to launch on April 24, 2026. This VR installment is developed by Iconik, not the original creators Tarsier Studios, but maintains a direct connection to the stories of Little Nightmares I and II. Players will step into the role of Dark Six, the shadowy doppelganger of the protagonist Six. The narrative follows Dark Six on a journey through the nightmarish world of Nowhere, seeking to reunite with Six to become whole again. Presented in an immersive first-person perspective, Altered Echoes is described as an adventure horror puzzle game set within an eerie and atmospheric universe. It will explore new locations within Nowhere, a dream-accessed realm populated by dangerous creatures like the human-like Residents. The Thin Man, the primary antagonist from Little Nightmares II, will also make a return. The game is optimized for a wide range of VR platforms. This includes PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest 3s, Oculus Rift and Rift S, Pico 4, Valve Index, and HTC Vive. It will also be compatible with other PC VR headsets. Little Nightmares VR Altered Echoes is available to wishlist now on the PlayStation Store, Steam, and the Meta Quest store ahead of its April 2026 release.
