Samsung Health Joins iFit

Samsung Health Integrates iFit Workouts with Free and Subscription Tiers Samsung Health is enhancing its fitness platform through a new partnership with iFit, bringing guided workout videos directly to its users. This collaboration offers a new dimension to digital fitness by integrating iFit’s extensive library of exercise content. For users interested in testing the service, Samsung Health now provides limited free access to iFit. Each month, subscribers can view one complimentary video from each of seven distinct workout categories. These categories include high-intensity interval training, known as HIIT, Pilates, yoga, strength training, recovery sessions, barre, and mindfulness practices. For fitness enthusiasts seeking more extensive content, a paid subscription is available at a discounted rate exclusively through Samsung Health. Normally priced at fifteen dollars per month for the basic plan, the iFit subscription is now offered for ten dollars per month. Users also have the option to pay annually, which costs one hundred dollars for the full year. The partnership also includes special incentives for customers purchasing new Samsung devices. Buying a new Galaxy phone comes with thirty days of free iFit access. The offer escalates with other hardware; purchasing the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro grants three free months, and buying any of the latest Galaxy Watch models provides a substantial six months of complimentary subscription. This integration follows the initial announcement of the Samsung and iFit partnership back in July. The collaboration has already expanded with recent updates that boost connectivity between Samsung wearables and specific fitness equipment. Some NordicTrack and ProForm machines now feature Galaxy Watch compatibility, allowing them to display real-time user metrics, such as live heart rate, directly on the machine’s screen during workouts. This creates a more connected and data-rich exercise experience.
