Stranger Things Season 5 Part 2 Trailer Teases a Final Battle for Hawkins With the release of Stranger Things season five part two just over a week away, Netflix has unveiled a new trailer hinting at the epic conclusion. The clip picks up in the devastating aftermath of part one, with Will surrounded by chaos and declaring, We failed. We never stood a chance. His mother Joyce, however, refuses to give up, insisting, This is not over. Not by a long shot. The trailer reveals that some of the group stranded in the Upside Down at the end of the previous episodes manage to return to their own reality. Yet, a major revelation seems imminent. Dustin suggests that the team’s fundamental understanding of the alternate dimension is flawed, stating, This whole time, everything we have ever assumed about the Upside Down has been dead wrong. The preview is packed with action and new threats. It shows the heroes launching an assault on a fortified military location. Max and Holly are seen navigating what is described as a mental prison. Demodogs swarm the Hawkins hospital in a terrifying attack. In a significant move, Eleven seeks out her sister Eight, asking for help to find and kill Vecna once and for all. Other key moments include a somber death pact between Dustin and Steve, the appearance of a mysterious new pulsating mass emerging from the Upside Down, and Vecna himself proclaiming, It is time for a new world. The final episodes of Stranger Things season five are set to arrive soon. Part two, consisting of three episodes, will premiere on Netflix at 8 PM Eastern Time on December 24. The series finale will follow one week later on December 31, also at 8 PM ET. The last episode will also receive a special theatrical release in movie theaters.
