Cosmic Brawl Unleashes Classic CoOp

Marvel Cosmic Invasion Gets December Release Date In New Trailer It is a great year for fans of classic arcade beat em up games. This month already saw the launch of Absolum, a game that mixes 2D combat in a fantasy world with roguelike elements. Now, a release date has been set for another highly anticipated title, Marvel Cosmic Invasion. A new trailer confirmed the game will launch on December 1st across almost all major platforms. Marvel Cosmic Invasion allows players to pick a team of two superheroes from a roster of fifteen characters, and you can switch between them during fights. The new trailer completed the character list by revealing the Invincible Iron Man and Phoenix, also known as Jean Grey. Jean Grey is voiced by Jennifer Hale, who also provided the voice for the character in the X Men 97 animated series. They join other previously announced heroes like Spider Man, Wolverine, and Captain America. The game features beautiful pixel art visuals that are heavily inspired by Marvel comics from the 1990s. Given this style and the popular characters, it is very likely the game will be a major success. The development and publishing team also inspires confidence. The developer, Tribute Games, last created the acclaimed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredders Revenge. The publisher, Dotemu, is also having a strong year, having already released Absolum and the well received Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. Marvel Cosmic Invasion will support up to four players cooperatively, both locally and online. Crossplay between different platforms will also be available. The game arrives on PC, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox on December 1.
